Xavier Becerra, the secretary of the US Department of Health and Human Services, issued a warning on Monday about a possible COVID-19 pandemic recurrence in the upcoming fall and winter.

“What I would tell you is that come the fall and winter, most everyone who is an expert on pandemics and these viruses will tell you, (there is a) strong chance that we’ll see a resurgence of the virus whether it’s the variants that we have now or new variants and we’ve got to be ready,” Becerra said.

The World Health Organization’s (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated on Wednesday that the WHO has documented a 30% spike in COVID-19 cases globally over the previous two weeks.

Furthermore, according to Tedros, the coronavirus Omicron strain’s so-called BA.4 and BA.5 subvariants are rapidly spreading throughout Europe and the Americas. He added that the WHO is keeping an eye on a brand-new subvariant BA.2.75 that was discovered in India.

Tedros claims that as the coronavirus changes, the effectiveness of the current vaccines is dwindling.

Dr. Zev Zelenko, the creator of the Zelenko protocol, who recently passed away, as well as other medical experts have assured the public that the existing treatments still apply and are effective in targeting the virus.
