Abu Jameh adds that about three years ago, he had a great desire to acquire such little lions in his modest home in the agricultural town of Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis, in which he lived with his parents and five male brothers.

And he confirms that at that time, whoever does not have enough money to achieve this wish, therefore he decided to work in “my bakery” in his area, so that from that time he saved the wages he got to buy two cubs from the owner of this park, who divided the amount to him among several Batches.

Abu Jameh preferred not to disclose the amount of money with which he bought these two cubs based on an agreement between him and the owner of the park, and Abu Jameh adds that upon the birth of the two cubs, “one of them is a male and the other is a female” he agreed with his friend, the “owner of the park”, to buy them, and when they reached their age of about two months, he received them From him and took them to his home.

The young man, Abu Jameh, explains that when he bought the two cubs in early November, they were somewhat brutal because of the change in the atmosphere surrounding them, explaining that after more than a week had passed since they were in his home, they became familiar with those around them and caress them.

Abu Jameh pointed out that he placed the two cubs, who reach 75 days at the moment of preparing this report, in a room on the roof of his house of 28 meters, which he closed tightly, indicating that he named the two cubs “Fathi and Palestine.”

In response to a question about his family’s opinion on this matter, Abu Jameh assured that his family did not oppose his idea at all, and were happy when he brought the two little lions into the house, stressing that his family members barely leave the roof of the house, in which the two cubs who let them play freely with his younger brothers are present Without fear of them.

Abu Jameh revealed to the “Al-Quds” correspondent that he aspires to establish a zoo if he has funds to achieve this goal, stressing that he refused an offer from his family to marry the amount that he saved in order to achieve his dream of buying the two cubs, which he described his attachment to them as “love”, confirming That the amount that he saved is sufficient to meet all the expenses of the marriage.

Abu Jameh, whose source of income is limited to working in a “baladi bakery”, where some residents of his rural town bring “dough” to bake it for them, indicated that he made the last payment to the owner of the zoo after receiving the cubs several days ago, stressing that he does not have at this time Only 50 shekels, and that if he had more money, he would have bought other animals.

On the possibility of providing food for the young men, Abu Jameh assured that he brings food to them from a poultry shop from chicken meat remnants, stressing that at this age they do not need much food, expressing his hope that his financial conditions will improve so that he can provide for their needs when they grow up.

Abu Jameh revealed his dream of owning a “bear”, stressing that if he had money, it would be impossible to buy it and bring it to Gaza, indicating that he felt great pleasure and happiness in owning such animals.

Abu Jameh, who spends most of his time with his “Maashouqia”, confirms that he does not intend to take the two cubs to public places or take them to the street, and that he will be satisfied with their presence in their room on the roof of his house, indicating that he is thinking of providing a suitable place for them in the future.
