Tue 23 March 2021:

Turkey’s Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) in association with Anadolu Agency will organize an online media training program for Rohingya Muslims, a senior official said on Tuesday.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, YTB Chairman Abdullah Eren said the program intends to help Rohingya Muslims, a minority group in Myanmar who fled to Bangladesh following a 2017 military crackdown, promote their cause.

Saying that the Rohingya have suffered for long and deprived of basic human rights, Eren said “it is important to keep the world updated about the condition of Rohingya Muslims, and this program will contribute to this end.”

The program will be held for the Rohingya community, regardless of geographic limitations, from March 29-31.

Sessions will be conducted in English on Multimedia and Internet Journalism, New Media and Social Media Applications, and Diaspora News by media experts.
