Bahrain’s foreign minister is set to pay a visit to Turkey on Wednesday, according to an official statement issued on Tuesday.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif Bin Rashid Alzayani are expected to address “bilateral relations, as well as current regional and international developments,” said the statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

As part of the visit, Cavusoglu will hand over the presidency of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) to Bahrain during the meeting of the group’s foreign ministers, the statement also said.
