FOUR HINDUTVA OUTFIT ARRESTED FOR VANDALIZING 17 IDOLS OF HINDU DEITIES TO DISTURB COMMUNAL HARMONY

Four, including prime accused Harish Sharma arrested on Thursday evening for vandalising 17 idols of Hindu deities in four different temples in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr, said Senior Superintendent of Police Gulavathi police station.

According to the police, the incident is said to have happened in the Baral on the night of May 30 and all the accused were drunk. The main accused in the crime are Harish and Innu. Earlier, locals suspected that the miscreants deliberately attacked the temples with the intention to create tension between local Hindus and Muslims.

 

The locals informed the police on Thursday (June 1, 2023) when they discovered that four temples was vandalized. The police immediately reached the spot and sealed the temple premises.

The officers had also launched an investigation into the case and had assured the local Hindu organisations that the miscreants would been arrested at the earliest. As per preliminary information, the locals suspected that the miscreants deliberately attacked the temples with the intention of distributing communal harmony.

 

One of the temples which had been attacked by the miscreants was assumed have been 100 years old and a video on the social media shows idols of lord shiva and lord hanuman in a desecrated condition.
