◼️ Why did Nathi Mthethwa initially book the Paris hotel for two days?: “The body is in the government mortuary (Paris). They must still do the autopsy. They said they think by Monday, at the latest, Tuesday, they’ll finish their processes, and they can hand the body over to us. Then we must start the process of repatriating the remains back home.” Mthethwa’s brother-in-law, Dr Sfiso Buthelezi, said they don’t know why Mthethwa booked into the hotel.

◼️ Malema’s firearm conviction: Mhlongo expressed deep dissatisfaction with the outcome, alleging a politically motivated effort to undermine their leader. “Suddenly, there are books published about our leader portraying him as a bad person who is undesirable and violent. The timing of this is critical because we are also going forward with local government elections,” she said.

◼️ SA citizens left behind: The South African government is bad, and quality of life in SA is falling behind the rest of the world. The recent Chandler Good Government Index (CGGI), a comprehensive analysis and ranking of how well countries are governed, puts SA at a dismal low rank of only 77 among 120 countries measured.
