◼️ Ramaphosa to serve full term: The plan allegedly circulated in a letter among senior ANC members. It called for Ramaphosa’s removal and the disbandment of the NEC. The letter proposed a national task team led by Thabo Mbeki.

◼️ South African speed lovers will soon need to prove they can actually drive: “The rehabilitation programmes feature a driver simulator test, alongside a psychological evaluation to assess cognitive and emotional readiness for driving,” it said. The RTIA explained that, upon successful completion of the rehabilitation programme, it can reduce the number of demerit points accumulated on a driver’s licence by four.

◼️ Important information for people wanting to leave SA: At the end of October 2025, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) and the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) introduced changes that reinforce the country’s capital controls.
