◼️ Massive cocaine bust: Preliminary investigations revealed that the drugs had been brought into South Africa from a neighbouring country and were destined for Cape Town in the Western Cape. During the search of the property, police discovered cocaine weighing about 80 kilogrammes hidden in a storage room on the identified plot.

◼️ SAHPRA paves way for Lenacapavir: South Africa has become the first country in Africa to register lenacapavir, a twice-a-year anti-HIV injection. The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) announced the approval, marking a significant milestone in the country’s ongoing efforts to curb new HIV infections.
