WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram appear to be down with thousands reporting a major outage.
“We’re sorry, but something went wrong. Please try again,” reads Instagram right now, whenever we try to access it. WhatsApp is similar with a ‘Connecting’ and circular icon near the top.
According to Techradar, issues from Spain, Saudi Arabia, USA, Japan and Russia all reported on DownDetector for the three services.

Instagram messages are in a perpetually state of “Sending” with no new messages going through among our Direct Messages.
Twitter users in India, Nigeria and more all suggested issues across the social media platforms.
