It was a chaotic Monday across various communities in the Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni metros as residents went on a rampage, looting and torching buildings.
Protesters in Turffontein, Johannesburg, looted shops as they demonstrated in the area on Monday morning.
The protesters targeted shops they believed to be owned by foreign nationals.
