Sat 31 July 2021: On Friday, local media reported that two Americans were fined around $20,000 each for presenting fake coronavirus vaccination documents when they arrived in Toronto, Canada. According to the Public Health Agency of Canada, the two travelers also lied about undergoing a COVID-19 test prior to their departure last week, did not follow government-mandated hotel quarantine regulations, and refused to be tested upon arrival. The travelers received four fines that totaled at $19,720 each, the agency said.
