Iman Jodeh, a Palestinian-American politician, was elected to the US House of Representatives in Colorado’s 41st district.
“We did it! I ran to make the American dream a reality for everyone. I am a proud Muslim, Palestinian American, first-generation American. And I am proud to be able to represent my communities,” tweeted Jodeh.

Jodeh joins Muslim-American Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, who were both re-elected in their constituencies.
