Thu 28 April 2022:

According to the Interfax news agency, a Russian court fined Twitter 3 million roubles ($41,000) for failing to remove banned content from its service.

According to Interfax, the fine was imposed because Twitter failed to remove content that was forbidden in Russia, including messages with instructions on how to build Molotov cocktails.

Russia had previously penalized Google the same sum for refusing to delete banned content from the video-sharing site YouTube, according to Interfax.
