Tue 16 July 2019:

Two British women were escorted off a plane by police after they racially abused three Muslim men wearing traditional Islamic robes, claiming they were “disgusting” and a “threat” to the safety of the plane. Aboard a plane from Turkey’s Dalaman to London’s Gatwick Airport, the two women went to the front of the plane and tried to convince a flight attendant to remove the men from the aircraft, delaying the flight for over an hour, according to testimonies from fellow passengers.

Shocked passengers voiced their frustration against the racial slur saying that they were “united against this crazy racist woman.”

When confronted by angry passengers, the women responded by saying that they were “stupid” for staying on the plane with the three men present.

“Two passengers on flight MT105 from Dalaman to London Gatwick were removed from the aircraft by police following offensive behavior on board,” said a statement by Thomas Cook, reported The Mirror. “The safety of our customers and crew is always our first priority and we do not accept this kind of behavior on our aircraft. We are sorry to our customers for the delay this caused to their flight.”
