The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has condemned the US drone strike that killed 10 Afghan civilians in Kabul and said the United States should take responsibility for past killings and atrocities.

The United States carried out an airstrike on August 29 on a residential house in Kabul’s 15th district, claiming at the time that it had killed ISIL members, but now admitting it was a mistake. Is.

“This is not just an attack they have carried out, they have killed civilians in Afghanistan over the past 20 years,” Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate and deputy minister of information and culture, told Chinese media.

“They have repeatedly attacked civilian homes, and their latest attack has killed 10 members of a family, including women and children,” Mujahid added.

The spokesman for the Islamic Emirate says the United States must be held accountable for its actions.

“The United States must be held accountable for its past actions and work with the Afghan people to compensate for the killings and oppression,” Mujahid said.

The Islamic Emirate has also welcomed the extension of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan or UNAMA.

Zabihullah Mujahid said: “We are optimistic about the extension of UNAMA’s activities. Below this is a UN body and an international body. “Afghanistan must be in the spotlight of the international community and the world must stay with us.”

He added that Afghanistan wants good relations with the international community.

Mujahid added: “The international community is supposed to have good relations with us. We still want positive relations with the world in the framework of national interests. We are coordinating humanitarian aid with UNAMA. “We continue to coordinate with ام UNAMA در on human rights.”

“We urge them not only to extend their mission, but also to work with the Afghan people to raise their voices and help,” he said. “The United Nations must play a positive political role with Afghans.”

Last Friday, the UN Security Council extended UNAMA’s mission in Afghanistan for six months.
