ERDOĞAN: THERE IS NO ELECTRICITY, NO WATER IN GAZA, WHY DOES NOBODY TALK ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS? | WHAT IS AMERICA’S AIRCRAFT CARRIER DOING IN ISRAEL?

‘What is America’s aircraft carrier doing in Israel? It will start to carry out very serious massacres there by striking, destroying Gaza,’ Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said in a statement during a press conference with the Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer in the capital Ankara on Tuesday.

‘There is currently no water supply to Gaza. There is no electricity, it is not being provided. What about human rights?’ the Turkish leader pointed out.

Erdoğan also said he believes Israeli-Palestinian tension will not end in just a week or two, adding: ‘That’s why we’re holding talks’

“Establishing an independent Palestinian state with territorial integrity based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, is an imperative. Each day that passes without progress in this direction further entrenches our region in a cycle of bloodshed and sorrow.

We must exercise utmost caution and avoid actions that could heighten tensions, escalate violence, and exacerbate existing challenges.

I conducted several phone conversations yesterday and have scheduled meetings with leaders such as Putin and Guterres today.

Our negotiations will persist, including with Gulf nations. Under the banner of ‘In a just peace, no one loses,‘ we implore all influential actors in the region to assume responsibility for fostering peace.

Adding fuel to the flames, especially when targeting civilians and their communities, serves no constructive purpose.

In our decision-making, fairness is paramount. It would be unjust to solely attribute this situation to Hamas.

We must reflect on how this situation evolved. Did it happen overnight? Regrettably, this suffering has persisted for many years. ‘We have continuously witnessed these tragic losses over the years,'” Erdoğan stressed in his comments.
