Sat 30 October 2021:

According to Israeli media on Saturday, a major Israeli Internet corporation was hacked, resulting in “complete paralysis.”

The Israeli Cyberserve, an Israeli online hosting company that has been in operation since 1997, was hacked by the Black Shadow group, according to the Yedioth Ahronoth daily.

The hackers accessed information from a variety of firms, including tour company Pegasus, the Cannes blog, and others.

“Hello Again! We have news for you,” the hackers wrote in a message circulated on social media on Friday evening. “You probably could not connect to many websites today. ‘Cyberserve’ company and their customers [were] hit by us. You may ask what about Data? As always, we have lots of it. If you don’t want your Data leaked by us, contact us soon.”

Last year’s attacks on Israeli companies, most notably Shirbit Insurance and KLS Auto Finance, were carried out by the Black Shadow Group.

According to Yedioth Ahronoth, another group known as The Stick of Moses revealed accurate information, including the names, addresses, ranks, and units of hundreds of Israeli troops and officers.

Last year, the Black Shadow attacked the Shirbit insurance firm and opened ransom negotiations, but the company said it wouldn’t pay, leading to the dark web sale of information stolen from the firm.

Hundreds of Israeli companies paid hackers more than $1 billion in ransom in 2020, according to the Manufacturers Association (which is responsible for more than 95 percent of industrial production in Israel).
