Since the Covid pandemic hit the United States, most Americans have developed a ‘germaphobes’.

According to a recent survey conducted by Xlear and OnePoll, more than two-thirds of Americans have developed a fear of germs.
Around 69 percent of those polled indicated they had changed their hygiene habits to avoid getting sick. Wearing masks and gloves, washing hands more frequently, and other measures are among them.

Approximately 68 percent of participants responded that hygiene was a top priority for them. Because of the Covid epidemic, at least 62 percent said their washing habits have “permanently changed for the better.”

The survey was published on Wednesday.

Around 88 percent of those polled said hygiene is important to them, and 57 percent indicated they haven’t taken care of their bodies as well as they should have.

In a statement accompanying the survey, Xlear’s Dr Lon Jones said, “Keeping the nose clean is important because essentially all respiratory problems begin there.”

Jones seemed to imply that those who want to enhance their health should begin by taking better care of their noses. Nathan Jones, the company’s CEO, agreed, calling himself a “avid nose washer.”
