Mon 16 May 2022:

Melania Trump hinted in her first interview since leaving the White House that she might like to have a second term as the first lady of the United States.

Melania Trump accused the media of unfairness and double standards, saying, “People I see always criticize me, whatever I do, and I’m used to that.”

“They’re biased, and they have likes and dislikes. It’s so obvious, and I think American people and everyone see[s] it.”

“I move forward, and I’m here… helping people, and that is the mission,” she added.

Reflecting on her time as the first lady, “I have much [sic] more important things to do, and I did in the White House than being on the cover of Vogue.”

Her comments were a jibe at First Lady of the United States Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris who had appeared on the cover of the fashion magazine.

Melania Trump was also asked for her views on the baby formula crisis.

‘It’s heartbreaking to see that they are struggling and the food is not available for children in the 21st century in the United States of America,’ she said.

Questioned about what was causing the shortages, Melania took aim at Joe Biden’s administration and replied: ‘Leadership.’

When Hegseth asked if she meant a lack of leadership, she said: ‘Yeah.’

The 52-year-old has kept a low profile since leaving the White House in January 2021, with only rare sightings by members of Mar-a-Lago.

When asked if she could be living in the White House again should her husband run for reelection, Melania said, “Never say never.”

Last year, Melania Trump started an NFT sales platform with an inaugural image of herself, and now a collection honoring former US President Donald Trump’s single term in office is on the way.

Her office claimed in a statement that the 10,000-piece issue of “digital artwork highlights iconic moments from Trump’s administration,” noting Christmas at the White House as an example.

“Collectors will enjoy an element of surprise as the artwork of each NFT is revealed only after purchase,” the statement added, noting Melania Trump provided “creative direction” for the collection.

The Republican billionaire’s NFTs, called the “POTUS TRUMP NFT Collection,” will be offered at a fixed price of $50 each through a platform extension run by Melania Trump.
