SAUDIA AIRLINE TO PROHIBIT UNVACCINATED PASSENGERS FROM FLYING DOMESTICALLY.

Saudia Airlines, the country’s official airline, will begin prohibiting all unvaccinated passengers from domestic flights on September 1.

According to an official announcement, only customers who have taken two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be allowed to fly on the airline.

The rule does not apply to minors under the age of 12 or adults who are exempt from receiving the vaccine due to medical reasons, according to the airline.

Saudi Arabia said on Tuesday that the travel ban on expatriates from 20 countries would be lifted. As part of its efforts to contain the COVID-19 outbreak, the Kingdom banned residents from 20 nations from entering the country in February.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation said on Tuesday that residents who obtained two doses of a coronavirus vaccine before leaving the country will be allowed to return.

The UAE, Lebanon, Egypt, India, Argentina, Germany, the United States, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Pakistan, Brazil, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Turkey, the Republic of South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, France, and Japan are among the 20 countries.
