Sat 01 May 2022:
On September 13, Apple is expected to announce three new smartwatches and the AirPods Pro 2, in addition to the highly anticipated iPhone 14 series.
Apart from the four new iPhone 14 models, the tech giant is going to release a slew of other items, according to GizmoChina, which cited media reports.
In September, Apple will unveil the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max, for those who are unaware.
The first two versions are expected to use the A15 Bionic chip from last year, while the Pro series will use the next-generation A16 Bionic chip.
Notably, it will be dropping the mini variant following lackluster market performance, the report said.
However, Apple also apparently aims at releasing at least three new watches, including the Watch 8, a budget Watch SE model, and even a new Watch Extreme Edition as well, which is more geared towards outdoor sports and activities.
Aside from these wearables, Apple is expected to finally reveal the AirPods Pro 2 fully wireless headphones.
The new headset is expected to have a redesigned design that eliminates the stem, as well as next-generation ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and lossless audio capabilities.
According to the source, its charging case could possibly include a USB Type-C connection.
