BILL GATES: THE “NEXT PANDEMIC” IS COMING AFTER COVID-19

Bill Gates, a business magnate and philanthropist, also widely known as a co-founder of Microsoft Corporation, in his recent interview aired by MSNBC a few weeks ago has shared his insights about the risk of the “next pandemic” that could be following the current COVID-19 in near future.

Back in March 2015, in an interview held at TED Conference, Bill Gates famously warned about the risk of a pandemic, stating that “the world was not prepared” for such public health crisis. This time he warns yet again about a possible similar course of events, while also offering ideas on how to prepare for that and to avoid critical outcomes.

Bill Gates stresses that it is undoubtedly worth investing today into the public health sector, the spending that dwarfs in comparison to what we already lost and could lose if we do not react to a risk of pandemic in a timely manner.
