Brazil registered 31,100 additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus over the last 24 hours and 630 deaths from COVID-19, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
The South American nation has now registered 6,118,708 cases since the pandemic began and the official death toll has risen to 170,115, according to ministry data.
