15th race of 2020 to be run at Bahrain International Circuit on Sunday
Bahrain Grand Prix of Formula 1 is set to take place on Sunday.
The 57-lap Bahrain GP will be run at Bahrain International Circuit on a track nearly 5.4 kilometers (3.3 miles) long, located in the desert region of Sakhir, thirty kilometers from the capital Manama.
The qualifying round will be held at 1400GMT on Saturday, and the race will start at 1410GMT on Sunday.
Bahrain Grand Prix is the Round 15 as the 2020 season will end after the Round 17 in Abu Dhabi next month.
British driver Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes claimed 10 victories, followed by his teammate Valtteri Bottas (2), Red Bull-Honda’s Max Verstappen (1) and Pierre Gasly (1) from AlphaTauri-Honda ahead of Bahrain Grand Prix.
On Nov. 15, Hamilton secured the 2020 F1 title in the Turkish Grand Prix with a first-place finish at Intercity Istanbul Park.
The 35-year-old had 94 victories to be the record holder for the most Grand Prix wins.
With 94 race wins, Hamilton surpassed legend driver Michael Schumacher’s career total of 91. Vettel, coming third on the Grand Prix wins list, has 53 wins.
