The panel found that information before it disclosed, prima facie, that the President may have committed serious misconduct and violated the Constitution.

ā—¼ļø SA tracks 97 possible hantavirus contacts as patient recovers: Although there is still no explanation why South Africa has responded differently to the Andes hantavirus outbreak than the rest of the world, the department of health said the infections were under control with tracing and tracking still ongoing. Department of health spokesperson Foster Mogale confirmed that the number of possible contacts in South Africa with hantavirus-infected people has increased to 97.

ā—¼ļø Cape Town storm damage continues into Tuesday as mop-up operations intensify: The torrential rainfall and gale-force winds that battered the Mother City on Monday wreaked havoc and resulted in localised flooding, roofs being blown off, trees uprooted, road closures, and power outages. ā—¼ļø New rules proposed for CCTV at estates in SA: The Information Regulator of South Africa’s research into personal data collected by security personnel at gated estates found the use of closed-circuit television (CCTV) at such points was intrusive. It found that the deployment of CCTV surveillance at these access points resulted in the capture of facial images without the consent of data subjects, and also often without their knowledge or awareness.
