US President Donald Trump is set to visit China this week, accompanied by a group of 16 leading corporate executives, including high-profile figures from the technology, finance, and industrial sectors, according to reports on Monday.
The New York Times reported that the White House released the list of participating business leaders ahead of Trump’s departure from Washington on Tuesday.
The US president is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping later this week during his trip to Beijing.

Among those scheduled to join the delegation are Apple CEO Tim Cook and Tesla chief Elon Musk, alongside executives from major firms such as BlackRock, Blackstone, Boeing, Cargill, Citi, General Electric Aerospace, Goldman Sachs, Meta, Micron, Mastercard, Illumina, Qualcomm, Visa, and others.
Cisco initially appeared on the list, but the company later said its chief executive, Chuck Robbins, would not take part in the trip.
Previously, a number of US officials noted that Trump is seeking to explore new frameworks for economic engagement with China, including potential investment and trade-focused boards designed to deepen structured cooperation between the two economies.
The visit comes amid broader efforts by Washington to stabilize economic ties with Beijing while maintaining competition across strategic sectors.
