Sun 23 October 2022:

The “Resident Evil 4” remake gameplay trailer, which features compelling graphics that seem incredibly realistic as the horror builds, was just released by the Japanese video game developer Capcom.

Next year in March, Resident Evil 4 will be available for PC and consoles . The PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox X/S will all support the game.

In the new version, Agent Leon Kennedy still has a mission to save Ashley Graham, the daughter of the US President, from a Spanish village that is under the control of a cult that worships parasites.

The new Resident Evil 4 remake gameplay trailer started with protagonist Leon S. Kennedy entering the villager’s home from the beginning of the game, much like he does in the original. However, it quickly becomes clear that the house in the Resident Evil 4 remake is much different from the one fans may remember. It’s bigger, grimier, and generally made to look creepier. This time around, Leon has to go into the basement to investigate the house, and that’s where he fights his first infected villager, as opposed to right on the first floor as in the original version of the game.

Capcom has underlined that the production team is “re-imagining” portions of the plot, even if RE4’s over-the-shoulder perspective and other aspects are still there (along with modern controls), reports Engadget.

Owners of the PlayStation VR2 headset will receive exclusive content. Even though this isn’t a drastic departure from the series’ earlier games, which were completely redesigned, it’s still a very important change.

RE 4 was well-liked in part because it represented a significant change for the franchise in terms of gameplay and story.

The report continued, the update needs to strike a balance between appreciating that sharp turn and recognizing that gamers’ expectations have changed after 17 years.
