WOMAN RESCUED FROM RUBBLE MORE THAN 10 DAYS AFTER QUAKES HIT SOUTHERN TÜRKIYE (VIDEO)

In yet another miraculous rescue, a woman was found alive after more than 10 days or 257 hours of twin earthquakes in southern Türkiye.

Forty-two-year-old Neslihan Kilic was pulled from the rubble in central Kahramanmaras province on Thursday. She was later moved to hospital.

More than 36,000 people have died in earthquakes that jolted southern Türkiye last week, the country’s disaster agency said.

The Feb. 6 magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 earthquakes, centered in the Kahramanmaras province, affected more than 13 million people across 11 provinces, including Adana, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Sanliurfa, and Elazig.

Several countries in the region, including Syria and Lebanon, also felt the strong tremors that struck Türkiye in the space of less than 10 hours.
