AL-AQSA: TALIBAN INAUGURATE REPLICA OF THE DOME OF THE ROCK IN KABUL

To uphold Islamic and historic cultural values, the Kabul Municipality has built a mosque in the Kampani area of Kabul with its tomb and other designing similar to the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is a Palestinian City, which is equally important and sacred for Muslims, Christians and Jews and is the birth place of Hazrat Essa Alihsalam and location of Haikal Sulaimani.

On its Twitter handle, Kabul Municipality wrote, a tomb alike Al-Aqsa Mosque tomb was built and inaugurated in the Kampani area of Kabul.

The facility is 17 metres long and nine metres tall, the purpose behind its designing and structure was the enrichment of Islamic values and cultural.

Since they took power in Afghanistan in August last year, the Taliban have been voicing support for Palestine.

Taliban officials condemned the killing of Al Jazeera reporter Shireen Abu Akleh by Israeli forces in Jenin last Wednesday.

Afghanistan’s foreign ministry said in a statement, “We condemn the Israeli occupation’s deliberate killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh in Palestine.”
