Tue 02 June 2026:
Exports from Israel’s defence sector grew nearly 30 percent in 2025 to a record $19.2bn, led by missile, rocket and air defence systems, the Defence Ministry says.
It said Israel’s defence export record was broken for a fifth consecutive year, more than doubling in five years and quadrupling in a decade.
“Defense industries [in Israel] signed hundreds of new contracts worldwide throughout the year, with the support and guidance of the IMOD, totaling $19.2 billion,” the ministry said in a statement. “Over half of these deals (53 percent) were mega-deals valued at $100 million or more each.”

“Missile, rocket, and air defense systems continued to lead in 2025, accounting for over a quarter (29 percent) of total deal volume,” it said, adding that observation and optronics systems made up 22 percent and radar and electronic warfare comprised 11 percent.
The ministry said because Israel has been at war on multiple fronts since October 2023, it has served as an opportunity to show the world the “combat-proven performance of Israeli systems across all theaters of operation, generating strong international demand for Israeli defense technology”.
The ministry said Europe accounted for 36 percent of the defence deals, followed by the Asia Pacific at 32 percent, the Middle East and North Africa at 15 percent, and North America at 13 percent.
