Sun 13 December 2020:

This weekend’s Million MAGA March, along with other named rallies, follows a Nov. 14 protest that brought masses of the president’s supporters to Washington, D.C., and ended with scattered clashes between rallygoers and counterprotesters.

The protesters, joined by hundreds of the white supremacist militia group the Proud Boys, carried American flags and banners that read “We support you Mr. President,” and “Stop the steal”.

The crows sang “The National Anthem” and chanted “Trump” as Marine One carrying the president flew over the “March For Trump” rally at Freedom Plaza.

Among Saturday’s speakers at the rally was former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who in his first public remarks since he was pardoned by Trump sought to deny President-elect Joe Biden’s victory.

“People ask me this all the time now, in the last couple of days certainly, on a scale of one to 10, who’s going to be the next president of the United States. And I say 1o, Donald J. Trump! 10!” Flynn told the crowd.

Other speakers at the rally included My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell and right-wing activist Jack Posobiec.

Elsewhere, right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones was spotted on the National Mall. Jones also attended last month’s march.

On Friday, according to WAMU, Trump supporters and counterprotesters clashed in Black Lives Matter Plaza, which led to several arrests.

From there, demonstrators made their way toward the Supreme Court, where Trump’s former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn made his first public appearance after the president pardoned him last month.

“The courts aren’t going to decide who the next president of the United States is going to be. We the people decide,” said Flynn to the demonstrators.

“In this crucible moment of our time, we have to pray that truth triumphs over lies, justice triumphs over abuse and fraud, honesty triumphs over corruption,” said the former adviser.

The first mass rally was held on Nov. 15, during which tens of thousands of people marched under the “Million MAGA March,” “The March for Trump” and “Stop the Steal DC” rallies.

Trump continues to challenge election results and claims electoral fraud and irregularities but authorities have said the 2020 elections were the most secure in history.

“WE HAVE JUST BEGUN TO FIGHT!!!” Trump tweeted all in capitals as his supporters gathered for the rally.
